Picking the right metal supplier determines both project rhythm and success. Start with material control: Can they provide Material Test Certificates (MTC)? Are RoHS/REACH compliant? Do they perform incoming hardness/chemical/dimension checks with samples kept for traceability? Stable material is the foundation of both quality and cost.

Next, assess process & equipment coverage. Do they offer laser cutting, bending, welding, CNC, deburring and automated finishing in-house? What are their limits—max thickness, stroke, minimum hole size, positioning accuracy? Do they design fixtures and gauges? These boundaries define the success rate for complex parts.
